Bob Verbesey has worked in libraries over 35 years, most of them managing public and academic libraries, and he has taught library organization and management as an adjunct at five universities for the past 25 years. He is a frequent speaker at library conferences and meetings.
Luly Castro, Member Services Coordinator

Luly Castro serves as the Member Services Coordinator for the Southwest Florida Library Network. She is responsible for the smooth operation of the office functions, which includes budget activities, facilitating records and serials updates, maintaining member information, arranging meetings, and responding to member requests.
Luly joined SWFLN in 1998. Prior to that, she served as the founding Administrative Assistant for the College of Health Professions at Florida Gulf Coast University, and held previous positions as Executive Secretary for two separate divisions at Lee Memorial Health System. Luly earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Florida Gulf Coast University, and an Associate's Degree in Business Marketing and Management from Valencia Community College in Orlando, Florida.
Sandy Nelson, Continuing Education Coordinator

Sandy Nelson is our Continuing Education Coordinator. She has worked in the Lee County School District at various locations since 1982 and served as Instructional Materials Coordinator (overseeing textbooks and libraries) for the Lee County School District for eleven years. When SWFLN was forming in 1991, she was a founding member and has served SWFLN in various positions. She has been President of two state organizations, FAME (Florida Association for Media in Education) and FADIMA (Florida Association for District Instructional Materials Administrators -- textbooks).
