Position Overview
The Revs Institute research collection includes both a library and an archive. It contains books, manuscript collections, images, objects, ephemera and serials. We are currently looking for a cataloging librarian to review the records that describe our serial collection and update them according to professional standards.
Initially the position has been approved for six weeks. We offer a flexible schedule and an hourly rate of $25.00. A background check and drug test are required.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Special Collections Manager, the cataloger will:
1. Review and clean up the existing bibliographic records.
2. Add shelf locations to each record.
3. Add information to describe our holdings.
4. Check to see which periodicals have been digitized for online access, and add the

Required Education
MLS, MSLIS or comparable.
