Frequently Asked Questions
How do I participate?
Library users should check that their library is a participant in the program. If it is, then they must first visit their library and ask for a SWFLN Reciprocal Borrowing sticker. It will be affixed to their library card. These stickers expire annually on December 31.
Next, they should present their library card with the SWFLN sticker to the reciprocal borrowing library to apply for a free library card. A photo ID and proof of address are usually required.
Reciprocal Borrowing cards cannot be issued or renewed without an updated reciprocal borrowing sticker.
